Ashton Kutcher on cheating story

Hunk Actor Ashton Kutcher is the latest celebrity to save his reputation into his own hands with a little social networking.
After a week when John Mayer slammed the HuffPo on his blog for reporting that he may be reviving a relationship with ex Jennifer Aniston, Ashton Kutcher loaded it to Twitter  to do damage control on a rumor that he’s cheating on Demi Moore.
In an "exclusive report", Star magazine claims that Kutcher, 32, was spotted getting close to a "hot young blonde."
The piece quoted a source saying, “Ashton had this gorgeous girl pinned against the wall, and he was totally making out with her.” The source added that the girl “obviously wasn’t Demi.”
The report began goping around on Wednesday, the same time that photos of a bikini-clad Moore began to surface from the star's Twitter account. It didn’t take long for Kutcher to make his response. “STAR magazine – you don't get to stand behind ‘freedom of the press’ when you are writing fiction,” he tweeted yesterday.
“I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualifies as defamation of character,” Kutcher added. “I hope my lawyer agrees.” Moore has backed up her husband, tweeting, "Excellent point my love!"
When asked for their rection, a Star magazine rep said the publication stands by the story.
Meanwhile the couple will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary at the end of September.

The  comedian managed to  crack a joke in her September 1st monologue, “I have been working for the E! network for over three years now, and in addition to hosting this chucklefest of a show, I’ve given many suggestions on how to improve the quality of their entire network. As you can tell by the current line-up of shows, they have taken none of my suggestions. So I’ve decided to consult for other networks.”

Michael Douglas' Stage 4 Throat Cancer Prognosis

As Michael Douglas appeared last night on "The Late Show with David Letterman," he revealed that he has advanced, Stage 4 cancer.
Michael Douglas is in a tough battle right now. The actor undergoes radiation and chemotherapy to treat a tumor at the base of his tongue.
However, giving up is the least thing in the 65-year-old Oscar-winning actor's mind.
"It's a fight," Douglas told People. "It really knocks you out."
"You've never looked better to me, and this proves that you're a tough guy, for God's sakes," the talk-show host said, drawing cheers from the studio audience.
"Let's just say ... I'm pretty lit up right now," Douglas replied.
The actor also tackled about his chances for recovery.
"I am head and neck," Douglas said. "I am above the neck, so nothing's gone down, and the expectations are good..."
Experts do agree with Douglas's upbeat assessment.
According to  Dr. Robert Haddad, an oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, who is not involved in Douglas's care, this kind of cancer generally responds well to the grueling combination of radiation and chemotherapy.
Douglas discovered he had throat cancer in early August after experiencing throat and ear pain.
During his treatment, Douglas may have to be fed through a tube, since swallowing will be difficult, says Haddad. Many patients develop severe mouth sores and need strong pain medications - even narcotics, like morphine - to get through it. The side effects of radiation can last for months after treatment.
Meanwhile, Douglas's wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 40, told People that "if there's anything Michael has, it's strength."

Lea Michele Cover Girl of 'Glamour' October 2010

Glee star Lea Michele oozes with sexiness on the upcoming cover of Glamour magazine’s October 2010 issue, available on stands Sept. 8.
Here’s what Lea had to share for her fans:
On what’s going to happen to Rachel next season: “I think we’re going to see with a boyfriend. She’s kind of inexperienced still, and I would like to see them together for a bit as a couple. I want to meet her dad—I really do. I think that they’re saving that, though.”
On which cast member she was surprised to be friends with: “Amber Riley. We’re both big personalities, and you definitely would think we’d bump heads. But she has taught me more about myself than anyone. She inspires me, she protects me, she makes me laugh, she tells me not to take myself so seriously. She’s my Mama Amber.”
On being on different coasts than boyfriend Theo Stockman (who’s currently in Broadway’s American Idiot): “I’m a relationship girl. I would rather be long-distance with him than not have a relationship at all.”
On her ideal romantic evening with Theo: “Scary movie, pizza, being at home, maybe having friends over and a great bottle of wine. I like it when a movie scares the s—t out of me. That, for me, is just the best.”
