Amanda Seyfried in 'Elle' October 2010 Issue

Actress Amanda Seyfried is absolutely  stunning in the cover of Elle magazine’s October 2010 issue.
Amanda, 25, was one of 25 ladies to be profiled in the issue and covers the newsstand issue. Elle also shot Gabourey Sidibe, Megan Fox and Lauren Conrad also shot covers! Here’s what the ladies shared:
Lauren Conrad, on where she thought she’d be in her twenties: “I was never that girl who just wanted babies. I wanted a career before all of that.”
Amanda Seyfried, on the best and worst things about turning 25: “The best thing is, I’m happy. The worst is that I’m scared; the scariest thing is that I know it can’t be easy - the years to come.”
Gabourey Sidibe, on celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday: “Part of me thought it would be weird if people knew I was a grown-up playing a teenager in Precious. So I had a twenty-first-birthday party. We had drinks and went to a strip club called Shotgun Willie’s.”
Megan Fox, on being married: “When I talk about my husband , I feel as if people roll their eyes. It’s like when you’re 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says, ‘Do you think I’m stupid?’ They can’t grasp that I’m old enough to be married.”
 

Amanda Seyfried Offends Leonardo DiCaprio With Role Offer

Amanda Seyfried was definitely appalled when  she accidentally "insulted" Leonardo DiCaprio by suggesting to him to play her father in a new movie.

The "Titanic" star is producing Seyfried's upcoming film "Red Riding Hood", and when the actress met the star to talk about the movie she triedto convince him to take an onscreen role.

However,  DiCaprio was unenthusiastic when he realized Seyfried wasn't asking him to play her love interest, but she wanted him for the part of her character's father.

She tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Unfortunately, he's not in it. I asked him if he would play my dad but he got insulted. He said, 'I don't do male leads in love stories anymore'."

"And I said, 'I wasn't talking about the male leads, I was talking about my dad! You're what, 35? Age yourself up a bit!' "

Amanda Seyfried Calls Herself 'Desperate'

They say Amanda Seyfried was "desperate" for Dominic Cooper to fall for her
The actress insisted that she and her co-star have split up.  The 'Mama Mia' star admits her feelings have always been much stronger than his are for her.
"I waited around. I was pretty desperate for a while. It was about three years ago, and the desperation lasted for 18 months. I waited and waited while he figured his s**t out. It was meant to be, it was meant to happen, and I was meant to wait for him. At the time it's hard and you don't know if what you're doing is right or wrong; that'll come out later in life.

"If I have strong feelings for someone, I'm going to tell them immediately and they can do what they want with it. Thankfully, it's usually been mutual in my life, but this relationship wasn't mutual for a while."
Despite her claims she and Cooper are happy and contented in their relationship, and confesses they have split up before.
"I walked away a couple of times, then I walked right back!

"We're flippant and serious. In my first two relationships, I didn't have that balance at all. In my recent relationship, we have the perfect balance. We can go deep into thought and analyze things together, but then we can also be silly. That's what I love about Dominic - he can be so light and willing to give and take, and change. It's a wonderful thing when you have that balance, and when you don't have it something is missing."

Amanda Seyfried is Single Now

Amanda Seyfried had already split from her relationship with boyfriend Dominic Cooper.
Source says, "Amanda and Dominic have been on and off for a while - and right now they're taking a break." The source then adds, "They still talk all the time and are trying to work things out. They are still very good friends."

Amanda has not yet released any comment on the rumor, but Dominic's was recently spotted, and might back up  the news.

Allegedly the British guy was  seen partying with Lindsay Lohan in Cannes on Wednesday night, May 19.

"They were being coy with each other," a witness says. "Not really touchy, but flirty. After Grace ' performance they sat down at the table next to each other and were hanging out." Moreover, another eyewitness insists, "It definitely looked like something was going on between them."

Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper, where a pair since 2008,  from then on, they had maintained a long-distance relationship, keeping in touch via Skype or hopping on planes in between their busy schedules. "There's nothing easy about ," she stated in a recent interview. The actress admitted she was not sure if the "Mamma Mia!" actor was "the one" for her, claiming "Too much planning can lead to heartbreak."
