Willie Revillame finally speaks up

Main man of “Wowowee” Willie Revillame has requested his supporters for understanding as he continues to mull overt his next action regarding his career in showbiz.

Earlier, the host who said the "I'll quit" threat on his show, confirmed that he is still contemplating whether he should continue hosting his noontime show.

Revillame guaranteed that his avid followers will know his decision.

The host said that his decision will be released in the right time. He added that whatever decision he will make, he expects understanding

During the interview, there was  an implication from the popular tv host that he is no longer happy with his network. He  appealed that he reached to a point where in he has to leave because he is now in the middle of something that needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.  He said that he wants to figure what he really wants and believes that he has to be happy doing it.

Willie said that he does not miss the program, only the people.

Revillame, refused to say anything concerning Jobert Sucaldito. He said he will just focus instead on helping the needy making other people happy.

Following the declaration of Willie  to quit, it was the first interview of Willie and tv appearance.

It was aired in  "Paparazzi" of TV5, the rumored network wherein the host likely to transfer.

Willie Revillame goes on indefinite leave

After a nasty word war with entertainment writer Jobert Sucaldito,  main man of "Wowowee," Willie Revillame has gone on indefinite leave from his popular noontime show.

The host gave no reason for leaving the show apart from the fact that he needed to rest.  Mainstay hosts of the show, Mariel Rodriguez and Pokwang took on the weight of Revillame's duties during Thursday's show.



Revillame, undeniably one of the highest-paid entertainers in local showbiz, drop the bomb of resigning from the show after a word war with "The Buzz" co-host and radio dzMM anchor Jobert Sucaldito.

Sucaldito made Revillame mad after the veteran writer allegedly insulted “Wowowee” contestants who were  high school students with general averages of 75 to 79.

This led Revillame to dare ABS-CBN management to fire Sucaldito if not, he would resign from his own show.

However, ABS-CBN management, said they will still talk to their talents to patch their differences.

As for Sucaldito, he is not afraid of Revillame since he believes he did the right thing. He denied that he attacked nor insulted the contestants of Wowowee. He said, "Kung 'yon ang iniisip nila I respect that…. Nag-trabaho lang ako. Kung hindi niya na-appreciate ang ginawa ko, wala din akong magagawa. I don't see rightfully kung bakit kailangang pamimiliin mo ang isang istasyon.”

“Kawawa naman ang mga katulad ko... kapag hindi ka pala gusto ng isang tao at feeling niya malakas siya ay pwede ka niyang ipa-tanggal. How sad."

Battle between Willie Revillame vs Jobert Sucaldito

Willie Revillame could not hide his emotion on Wowowee as he exploded and expressed his disappointment over Jobert Sucaldito.
According to Willie,  he overheard Jobert on the his DZMM program attacking his show Wowowee particularly its Willie of Fortune segment when it featured high school students who graduated with 75-79 general average.
The tv host added that Jobert was questioning why Wowowee had to feature contestants who are "bobo".
Willie responded by defending the show and said that they're open to any kind of people and Jobert should not attack nor criticize Wowowee because they're both belong in one network.
He was fuming mad at Jobert that it reached to a point that he want him booted out from ABS-CBN.
"Sa management ng ABS-CBN, kung hindi nyo sya tatanggalin,
mag-re-resign ako," said Willie.

Meanwhile, based on reports, ABS-CBN has already talked to  Willie and Jobert individually and strongly believes that they will meet halfway.
