Christina Applegate confirms pregnancy

Former “Married with Children” and “Samantha Who?” star Christina Applegate confirms the rumors that she is expecting her first child with Dutch fiancé, musician Martyn Lenoble.  The couple got engaged at the start of this year on February 14, 2010. She proudly showed her baby bump on Sunday, July 25th, at the Hollywood premiere of her most recent movie, “Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.”
When asked about her cravings, the 38-year-old star answered that she is craving for avocados and other "weird" foods at unusual hours since she found out that she is expecting.  Applegate wouldn't reveal how far along she is and simply said: "That is for me to know - I'm somewhere between zero and nine months. “  The actress is a breast cancer survivor after undergoing a double mastectomy back in 2008.

Forbes Magazine lists Top 5 highest-paid actresses for 2010

It has been a roller coaster year for Sandra Bullock.
She won the best actress award at the Oscars for the movie The Blind Side; discovered her husband’s infidelity and filed for divorce; adopted a child and became a single mom.
She now tops Forbes magazine’s list of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Bullock made $56 million dollars between June 2009 and June 2010 from two of her hit movies – The Proposal and The Blind Side. Tied at number 2 spot are Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz, who both reported earnings at $32 million each. Jennifer Aniston comes in at number 4 with $27 million. In fifth place is Sarah Jessica Parker who made $25 million.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright finally call it quits; third-time’s a charm

 
 
After 14 years, Sean Penn and Robin Wright’s marriage is finally over.
 
 
The couple’s on and off relationship began in December 2007 when they first filed for divorce. They changed their minds four months after.  On April 2009, Penn filed for a legal separation but again reconciled with Wright a month later.
 
 
 
Finally, Wright filed for divorce on August 2009 and told More Magazine that she had no plans to patch-up with her ex-husband. On July 22, 2010, nearly a year after the third divorce case was filed, the marriage is officially over.
 
 
The ex-couple got married on April 27, 1996 and have two children. They will share custody of their youngest son, Hopper Jack. Their eldest, Dylan Frances is 19 years old. They have also agreed privately to spousal support and division of assets.
 

Rihanna’s new gig: Acting

Grammy award-winning Pop/R&B singer Rihanna will be making her movie debut in the sci-fi action flick “Battleship,” which is inspired by a classic board game where one player blindly attempts to destroy his opponent’s ships strategically placed in a 10x10 grid.  Filming will reportedly begin on August 30 in Hawaii.

Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) and Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights and X-Men Origins: Wolverine) will also appear in the movie as brothers and naval officers who must protect the world from alien invaders.  The movie will be directed by Peter Berg, who also helmed the 2008 superhero film Hancock, and produced by .
