Katy came in wearing a Marchesa dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Swarovski clutch, Sutra earrings, and a black diamond ring from M.C.L. She also had her manicurist to put her decals of her fiance Russell Brand’s face on her fingernails.

After endless preparation,the much awaited event has finally arrived. The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards has just landed.
Live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, the 2010 VMAs vow to be the most memorable in the show's history. With performances by Eminem, who will open the show. Kanye West, Drake, Justin Bieber, Paramore, B.o.B, Linkin Park, Florence and the Machine, Usher and in-house music provided by deadmau5.
In addition to that, all of our favorite celebrities will present, like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, 30 Seconds to Mars, the casts of "Glee," "Jackass" and "Jersey Shore," Rick Ross, Selena Gomez and dozens more. They will all make the celebration a fun night to remember.
Instead of a red carpet, white carpet will be used, as the stars strut their way donning their favorite designer's creations.

Russell Brand waltzes out of St. Bart’s Church donned in a bright pair of blue and purple underwear and a pair of socks on Tuesday July 27 on New York City’s Upper East Side.
But this antic move is for his upcoming movie, and he was shooting new scenes for "Arthur".
Jennifer Garner his co-star is a wealthy heiress who’s apprehensive about her modest background and is set to marry the title character (Brand) in an arranged marriage.

"Thinking of You" hitmaker Katy Perry donned in a floral dress with flowers enveloping her, graces the cover of Billboard’s latest issue.
Here’s what she has to share:
On her first single off her new record: “I’m not saying, ‘Oh, my God! ‘California Gurls’ is a f—ing genius opus!’ I just know what kind of card this summer needs, and that’s the one I’m playing.”
On not having to resort to scandalous stunts to get attention: “I’m not coming out trying to prove anything to anyone, like, ‘Oh, I’m in assless chaps!’ or ‘I can’t be tamed! I’ve already been through that phase. I started at 23, you know?”
On the inspiration for “Fireworks”: “Basically I have this very morbid idea…when I pass, I want to be put into a firework and shot across the sky over the Santa Barbara Ocean as my last hurrah. I want to be a firework, both living and dead. My boyfriend showed me a paragraph out of Jack Kerouac’s book On the Road, about people that are buzzing and fizzing and full of life and never say a commonplace thing. They shoot across the sky like a firework and make people go, ‘Ahhh.’ I guess that making people go ‘ahhh’ is kind of like my motto.”

Katy Perry spotted in Bahamas
"California Gurls" hitmaker Katy Perry sported a cute bikini and enjoyed the water slides at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas on Sunday July 18. The singer obviously had a blast.
Perry, 25 has performed last night a sold-out concert in the Grand Ballroom in Atlantis.
Katy posted on her twitter account, “BERMUDA, BAHAMAS, CUMMON BABY MAMA!” Har har.
Together with Perry are: Suzanne Sansone, her assistant, stylist Logan Horne, jewelry designer Markus Molinari, singer Ferras, hairstylist Aaron Light, and her brother (and actor) David Hudson.

Ex-Girlfriend of Russell Brand advises to Get Psychiatrist's Opinion Before Tying the Knot
Russell Brand's former flame has recommended the funnyman to ask out a psychiatric assessment before marrying Katy Perry. This is to make sure he's ready for marriage.
Georgina Baillie expressed her fears that British Casanova will always be a ladies man and she worries for his wife-to-be.
Baillie, who used to date the actor on and off for a year, tells Life & Style magazine, "He (Brand) has a habit of dating a girl for a while, declaring, 'She's the one,' then losing interest quickly... Poor Katy's going to have her heart broken. It would be a good idea for him to get a psychiatrist's opinion (before he weds)... He should really get some help."
Reportedly, Russell Brand has changed his ways in relationships after meeting Katy Perry, whom he first met at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in September.
The couple is currently preparing for their upcoming marriage.

Katy Perry seems to be firm to have a stripper at her bachelorette party. Allegedly, she wanted her friend Rihanna to do the honors by baring.
The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker is getting ready to tie the knot with British funnyman Russell Brand and she's given Rihanna the duty of organizing a pre-wedding gathering before she walks down the aisle.
She tells U.S. DJ Nina Chantele, "(Rihanna) has all these ideas about everything. You see people coming and they strip at your bachelor party but I want her to strip at my bachelorette party."
"She's going to get the message right now. She's hot, I love her. She's just the coolest chick and I want all of her clothes. We have a lot in common. We like to hang out every once in awhile, sometimes we'll see each other at different events."

Katy Perry Puts on U.S.A. and England Combined Rubber Flag Dress
Katy Perry had a custom made special dress integrating the flags of the U.S.A. and England, to show she was impartial as the two national teams met in the World Cup last Saturday, June 12.
The singer, who is engaged to soccer fan Russell Brand, was a special guest on British TV show James Corden's "World Cup Live" on Saturday evening, June 12, following a 1-1 draw between the two nations.
In her usual flamboyant style, Perry sported a short rubber dress which featured the stars and stripes as well as the U.K.'s national flag. As she sat on the sofa, she shouted, "America! England! It's not about football; I feel very divided in general. It's hard. I'm in England and so if I say, 'Screw America' I'll get press that says 'Katy hates her home place!' I thought it was a good game."
Perry admitted that Brand is following the tournament closely as he works, saying "I know that Russell has it in his contract for his movie if England get to the finals he's going (to South Africa)."

On top of the reigning Hot 100, "California Gurls" features rapper Snoop Dogg on the hook also tops Digital Songs chart, marking for a third consecutive week it sits atop the list. Furthermore, the first single of Katy Perry's August 24 release "Teenage Dream" jumps from No. 10 to No. 6 on Radio Songs chart.

Katy Perry will host and perform at Teen Choice Awards
It has been confirmed in a press conference that Katy Perry was asked to host this year's Teen Choice Awards. In addition to that, the singer who spiced MTV Movie Awards with her "California Gurls" performance with Snoop Dogg is also set to sing at the upcoming event.
The schedule of 12th Annual Teen Choice Awards is going to be aired live on Fox Monday, August 9 at 8:00-10:00 P.M. ET/PT. Surfboard trophies will be given to the coolest stars in respective categories as Choice TV Villain, Choice Scene Stealer and the newest entry, Choice Country Music Artist.
Katy Perry is also confirmed to have a co-host partner who will be named sometime soon.
Nominees, presenters and performers are also assured to be named in the coming weeks.

Just days before the live telecast of the 19th Annual MTV Movie Awards happen, Katy Perry discloses her thoughts about the event that will air on June 6.
"I will be naked," she said with a smile when asked about het plans.
"I think that this performance will be really Californian," the 25-year-old singer, who will be present at the awards show with her fiance Russell Brand, explained more. "There will be tons of naked girls. Listen: You gotta tune in, because yours truly, Katy Perry, will be naked. That's the only reason to watch."
Katy will have duet number with Snoop Dogg and will sing her new single "California Gurls" live.
"It's definitely something to watch when you have the munchies," she gushed. " 'Cause it's all edible."

Fans might be frustrated as the shot is just an odd image in which Perry photoshopped her face onto fiance Russell Brand's from a shirtless shot of the Brit that graces the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
Katy made it in a bid to celebrate Russell's 35th birthday and the launch of his new movie "Get Him to the Greek", which both happened on June 4. Together with the quirky image, Katy wrote, "In honor of @rustyrockets birthday; film release! MY Rolling Stone Cover!" and then sends fans to the 'Twitpic'."
