Queen of talk Kris Aquino expressed her gratitude by saying thank you to the public for supporting her brother, Liberal Party standard-bearer Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, in the May 10 elections.
Using her Twitter page, Kris, who aggressively campaigned for Noynoy, was to those who voted for her elder brother, who continues to lead in the counting.
Noynoy has remained No. 1 spot in the latest tally announced by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting. As of 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Noynoy kept a wide margin of 4,883,215 over his closest rival, former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada, who still does not want to concede to the senator.
After months of exhausting campaign, Kris, disclosed that she and her family are going on a vacation before she goes back for work.
She tweeted: "Time for my sons. We're going away on a short beach vacation. Back Saturday for ‘Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT).’ Thank u Philippines for choosing NOY!"
