Actress Lindsay Lohan was finally released from UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 24) after her 23 days in rehab.
Lohan, 24, was originally sentenced by Judge Marsha Revel to three months of in-patient treatment but will still be receiving outpatient care.
Last month, Lindsay only spent 13 full days of a 90-day jail sentence. It was because of her good behavior and severe overcrowding.

Judge Revel Removes Herself From Lindsay Lohan's Case
Based on TMZ's report,Judge Marsha Revel has pulled herself from the Lindsay Lohan case following the accusations that the judge has improperly contacted people involved in the case.
Sources tell TMZ that the lawyers in the case had a conference call with Judge Revel last Friday at 3:30 PM. Lawyers has complained that Judge Revel contacted "participants and experts" in the case without informing the lawyers in advance.
One of the issues, Judge Revel took it upon herself to make contact with people from the Morningside Recovery rehab facility and then opted Morningside, even though it was not on the list of recommended facilities by her own court-appointed experts. In the end, Lindsay's lawyer convinced Judge Revel to send LiLo to UCLA. But the issue was tackled on Friday.
Judge Elden Fox is the new judge on the case.

Lindsay Lohan freed from jail
The Los Angeles Times reported that actress Lindsay Lohan was released from a county jail early Monday after serving 13 days for the violation of probation on a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.
Lohan was released at 1:35 am local time (0835 GMT), Lohan was ordered to go directly to a substance abuse treatment center.
The treatment facility was not named, but a source said, Lohan had left the prison in a minivan with multiple individuals.
Lohan entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Los Angeles since July 20 but she was kept separated from other inmates for security reasons.
Lohan, was arrested in May 2007 after crashing her Mercedes in Beverly Hills.
After giving it a shot in rehab, she was caught two months later for drunk driving and cocaine possession. During that time, she spent a mere 84 minutes in jail.
The actress has finished an alcohol education program, but was found in violation of probation because she did not attend classes regularly, The Times noted.
During her tough period adjusting to jail life, Lohan was cooperative and became more quiet as days passed, according to law enforcement sources, the paper said.

Actress Lindsay Lohan isn't obviously pleased with her 90-day jail verdict and totop it all off, she's not enthusiastic with what certain people have to comment about her predicament.
When Joan Rivers brought it on Twitter to criticize the actress posting that Lohan,24, was "so dumb" and that the "new Lindsay Lohan diet is all liquid. 80 proof" Lohan will not keep mum about it.
Lohan tweeted on Tuesday, "Joan Rivers and her 'stargument' make me believe that she and Michael Lohan are a match made in heaven," saying something about the comedian and her dad, with whom she's had a rocky relationship.
Then she made another tweet,"All he needs is her botox doctor. 'Dr.' Drew – any ideas? Botox rehab reality show?" aiming at Celebrity Rehab's Dr. Drew Pinksy, who once said the star needed to get arrested in order to get help.
"Thanks @lindsaylohan sounds like a terrific plan! Actually happy to see you have retained your sense of humor despite your circumstances," he responded, while also thanking fans who took offense to her use of quotes around his "Dr." title.
As a finale,Lohan later tweeted: "In the words of 50 cent,You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house and if you got a glass jaw, you should watch yo mouth"

Lohan's Attorney Resigns
Lindsay Lohan is definitely in for a more legal drama.
Just hours Thursday afternoon, after Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley released a statement calling the star's 90-day jail sentence "harsh", Holley all of a sudden resigned as Lohan's lawyer.
A representative for Holley confirmed the lawyer is no longer representing Lohan, but would not release any more details.
But it seems Lohan may have already have a new attorney in her criminal case, according to police.
"We got a call yesterday from a female identifying herself as Tiffany Feder-Cohen," says L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore. "She introduced herself as Lindsay Lohan's new attorney. I can't get into details about why she called, but the bottom line is that we at the sheriff's department only do what the courts instruct us to do."
Calls to Feder-Cohen's office were not returned.
"Lindsay is determined to not go to jail, get new attorneys and just appeal it," says a source close to the actress. "She seems totally with it, smart and knows what she wants."
However a legal expert says the chances of winning an appeal are slim to none.
"There is absolutely zero chance of Lindsay winning an appeal because there's overwhelming evidence of her repeatedly violating her probation and the court's orders," says criminal defense attorney Trent Copeland, who's not involved with the case. "That is undisputed."

On Tuesday a judge discovered Lindsay Lohan in violation of probation in a 2007 drug case when prosecutors said she was unable to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes.
A sentence was expected later to be released in the day.
The ruling came on a hearing set for the "Mean Girls" star after she failed to appear to court date in May. She has been ordered to wear an ankle alcohol monitor since then.
Lohan was doing prompotions for a film project during that time at the Cannes Film Festival and insisted her passport was stolen.
Weeks after, the monitor issued an alert following Lohan's attendance at the MTV Movie Awards and after-parties. Prosecutors called it an "alcohol-related" violation.
Prosecutors had expected to reveal reports from the monitor to show the actress also had violated a court order against drinking imposed as part of her probation.
According to Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel, during the ongoing hearing that the device showed Lohan's blood-alcohol content was 0.03.
But, Revel said she would not mull over whether the actress actually consumed alcohol last month after attending the MTV Movie Awards. Lohan has refuted that she was drinking that night.
The judge said she would honor what she told lawyers for both sides in a closed meeting last month and not allow the negative report to be used at the hearing.
Revel said she would only allow whether the actress unable to complete the required number of alcohol education courses on time.
A co-founder of the education program Cheryl Marshall, testified she did not report Lohan violating judge's requirement when the actress missed nine meetings then made up an undisclosed number.
Marshall said she knows that the program received a phone call from the judge in December saying she wanted Lohan to be present in classes each week. However Marshall's reasoning is that she never got a paper copy of the order and did not consider it active.
Marshall's program defended against supplying records and testimony at the hearing, but Revel ruled the information was important.
Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said she hadn't planned to fight against the alcohol monitor report because the judge had said it would only affect bail for the actress. Revel doubled Lohan's bail to $200,000 after learning of the alert or violation last month.
Lohan arrived about 10 minutes early for the hearing at the Beverly Hills courthouse.Together with her was her father Michael and younger sister.
Revel had set the hearing when Lohan missed a court date in May. She has been ordered to wear an ankle alcohol monitor since then.

Lohan punched by waitress on her birthday
It's not a happy 24th birthday for actress Lindsay Lohan.
Reportedly, Lindsay Lohan was punched by a waitress at L.A. club Voyeur early Friday morning on her 24th birthday.
The informationregarding the mishap came from Lohan herself.
"A waitress just hit me - punched me for no reason," the actress Twittered around 1 a.m. PT.
A witness tells UsMagazine.com that Lohan — who sipped Red Bulls and hid her SCRAM bracelet with thigh-high boots, wasn't exaggerating.
"The waitress has a history with Doug Reinhardt, and Lohan was hanging out with him. She was jealous, and out of nowhere, the waitress punched her in the face!" the insider tells Us. "Doug didn't want any part of it and went to the other side of the booth. Lohan ran out."
However the night didn't improve from there.
Lohan went to a party along Rockstar House, and voila! ran into the waitress again!

The shoot took place on Malibu Beach on Saturday, June 5. Lohan dressed in hot Scandinavian-looking lingerie and wore a pair of UGG boots which hide her SCRAM bracelet.
Applying fierce impression on the shoot, Lindsay, with a bow and arrow posed before the photographer.
On that same day, the "Mean Girls" actress wrote on her Twitter page, writing "Nice days work from 9am-7pm shooting German Vogue with Ellen Von Unwerth ahhhhh tired."

Lindsay Lohan Denies Rumored Lesbian Relationship
Earlier allegations about Lindsay Lohan finding a new lesbian romance with celebrity photographer and reality TV star Indrani was shot down by the actress.
There were reports that she was said to be secretly dating the 36 year old after working on a photoshoot project together in recent months.
Indrani was unable to stop the reports from erupting after admitting the pair had been "spending a lot of time together." Even her business partner Markus Klinko made the confirmation regarding the alleged romance.
Klinko told New York Post, "Lindsay and Indrani have been seeing each other since we shot her last fall. I've seen them on dates, I have seen them making out... Indrani is a good influence on Lindsay. She is the opposite of a party girl - a Princeton graduate, she's into art and is a philanthropist - not what you'd expect (of) the typical girl for Lindsay to go out with. When they are together, they talk about art and the deeper meaning in life."
Despite all the rumors and confirmations, Lohan vehemently denied the reports, telling UsMagazine.com, "No, no, no... In NO way am I dating her."
Really, I hope she's sober when she said that.
There were reports that she was said to be secretly dating the 36 year old after working on a photoshoot project together in recent months.
Indrani was unable to stop the reports from erupting after admitting the pair had been "spending a lot of time together." Even her business partner Markus Klinko made the confirmation regarding the alleged romance.
Klinko told New York Post, "Lindsay and Indrani have been seeing each other since we shot her last fall. I've seen them on dates, I have seen them making out... Indrani is a good influence on Lindsay. She is the opposite of a party girl - a Princeton graduate, she's into art and is a philanthropist - not what you'd expect (of) the typical girl for Lindsay to go out with. When they are together, they talk about art and the deeper meaning in life."
Despite all the rumors and confirmations, Lohan vehemently denied the reports, telling UsMagazine.com, "No, no, no... In NO way am I dating her."
Really, I hope she's sober when she said that.
