Lindsay Lohan freed from jail

 

The Los Angeles Times reported that actress Lindsay Lohan was released from a county jail early Monday after serving 13 days for the violation of probation on a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.
Lohan was released at 1:35 am local time (0835 GMT), Lohan was ordered to go directly to a substance abuse treatment center.
The treatment facility was not named, but a source said, Lohan had left the prison in a minivan with multiple individuals.
Lohan entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Los Angeles since July 20 but she was kept separated from other inmates for security reasons.
Lohan, was arrested in May 2007 after crashing her Mercedes in Beverly Hills.
After giving it a shot in rehab, she was caught two months later for drunk driving and cocaine possession. During that time, she spent a mere 84 minutes in jail.
The actress has finished an alcohol education program, but was found in violation of probation because she did not attend classes regularly, The Times noted.
During her tough period adjusting to jail life, Lohan was cooperative and became more quiet as days passed, according to law enforcement sources, the paper said.
