Lea Michele “Glee's” lead star said she and international singing sensation Charice’s characters might end up as best friends.
In the latest season of “Glee,” Charice's role is a a Filipino exchange student. She will be Rachel Berry’s played by Michele, as biggest rival.
In an interview with Michele during her visit at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California, the actress hinted that the reports might be a little bit exaggerated.
"Just hearing her singing, hum backstage, she has gorgeous voice. I would give more credit than that. I mean she's going to be a rival in the sense… we will probably become best friends or something, do you know what I mean?” she said.
“I don’t think it's going to be what you think it’s going to be, that's my prediction. But we might be in a catfight, I don't know," Michele said.
Michele disclosed that she and Charice already shot a “hilarious scene the other day."
The American actress was also all praises for the 18-year-old Filipino singer.
"She's tiniest, the most person I've ever seen in my life. And she's so darling and she's so sweet," Michele said.
The second season of “Glee” will air on September 21 on Fox.
Lea said she was the tiniest and "wee" person. As in small. I hope they are friends becasue Rachel needs less drama. Plus it wil lbe a 5/6 show arc most likely so Charice will be gone pretty fast.
ResponderEliminarno, she won't be gone 'pretty fast' because Ryan would like to keep all the Charice fans watching the show...As soon as Charice's character is gone, I'll stop watching the show as will so many other Charice fans...they'll notice the huge drop in ratings...and therefore, she'll be asked to be in future episodes.
ResponderEliminarYeah, I agree. They will be friends as Lea said though they might be rivals in the show. But I hope Glee keeps Charice.
ResponderEliminarGlee is doing fine without the Charice fans. Most of Charice fans aren't form the US and her being on the show won't effect the rating that much. Don't kid yourself.
ResponderEliminarReally? of course, not most from US yet, she just started. intimidated? Leah's not, are you? There are reasons why Glee took her. You're right it's doing fine w/o her, but may be better why she's hired. Ask the one who hired her, and oprah, they might've better answers for you.
