Trailer Debut of Natalie Portman's "Black Swan"

The first trailer for "Black Swan," which was launched online Tuesday, appears to be aballet-themed flick which is not a usual type dance movie.
In the Darren Aronofsky-directed thriller, Natalie Portman portrays the role of Nina, a rising star in the New York City ballet scene who's granted the lead role in her company's production of "Swan Lake." However, her position went shaky when a new dancer, Lily, played by Mina Kunis, joins the picture.
As the two build a twisted relationship, Nina's life pirouettes out of control and is left to face a daunting question. Is her rival Lilly even real or just a delusion?
The last scene of the trailer gives a glimppse of a curiously chilling end as Portman pulls a tiny black feather from a wound on her back.
"Black Swan" also includes stars Vincent Cassel ("Ocean's Twelve"), Barbara Hershey ("The Last Temptation of Christ") and Winona Ryder.
The film is scheduled to be released on Dec. 1, but will first premiere on the opening night of this year's Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 1.
