2010 BET Awards: Winners List,Beyonce and Lady GaGa got top awards

Congratulations to the winners!

The winners list of the 10th Annual BET Awards has just been unveiled. Beyonce Knowles brought home the top award, Video of the Year.

The "Single Ladies" hitmaker earned it through "Video Phone" music video which features Lady GaGa.

Together with GaGa, Beyonce successfully beat B.o.B, Melanie Fiona as well as her rapper husband Jay-Z. However, neither of the female artists were present at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 27 to collect their trophy.

2010 BET Awards was hosted by Queen Latifah and featured performances from the likes of B.o.B, Alicia Keys, Eminem, Ludacris and many more. Among the special honorees were Prince for Lifetime Achievement Award and John Legend for Humanitarian Award.

"I do a lot of work fighting poverty in Africa, but even here in America in our communities, there is a fight we must win. we know we can do better, we know there are solutions," John said. "Poverty doesn't have to be a trap. There's a lot of money, fame and influence and millions of people watching around the world. I say to all of us, we can do better."
