Lily Allen reportedly slammed the Spice Girls, modern music, and even her own father in an explosive new interview.
The "LDN" hitmaker accused Spice Girls not "real", and called British pop band S Club 7 for making "rubbish" music.
In addition to her heated remarks, even her own father actor Keith Allen wasn't able to escape from Lily. Lily claimed that her father was "useless" and "not a responsible adult" for walking out on the family when she was just four years old.
Singer says in an interview, "He had just always been like that, that's his personality and my mother knew that that's what he was like when she got involved with him and he's still like that now. He's rubbish, he's not a responsible adult. He lives in the countryside now so he's not got so many distractions as he did before but I don't really blame my dad for how he is..."
"I feel I know that about him so I still want to have a relationship with him so I make the effort to go and see him, I don't expect him to come and see me just because I know what he's like and there's only so much you can say, 'Oh, that person's useless' because it's pretty pointless."
Allen also revealed she was "irritated" by modern pop culture in the 1990s and early 2000s, adding: "Well the music was rubbish. Well these are the days of bands like S Club 7 and the Spice Girls. I mean they are great for what they were but for someone who read a lot of books and engaged in conversation with people quite a lot, I felt if I'm going to be a pop star I want to be a real pop star and I want to say real things."
